Overview

Our 2-day Zaamin Stopover Tour offers a rewarding way to extend your journey between Samarkand and Tashkent by adding a distinctive natural destination to your itinerary. Nestled in the mountains, Zaamin features a landscape rarely seen elsewhere in Uzbekistan. Ancient trees, mineral springs long valued for their properties, and pine-scented forests define this quiet region.

Conveniently located between Samarkand and Tashkent, Zaamin can be reached by a morning departure, with the first sightseeing stops before lunch. The day continues with scenic walks, dinner, and an overnight stay in a comfortable hotel. On the second day, you will cross a suspension bridge above the Suffa Plateau, try ziplining, see centuries-old junipers, and visit observation decks offering panoramic views of Zaamin National Park.

This short detour into the natural landscapes of Zaamin provides a welcome contrast to the historical monuments of Uzbekistan, making the 2-day Zaamin Stopover Tour a more varied and memorable way to travel between Samarkand and Tashkent.
