Terms and booking conditions
These terms cover two things: the rules for using this website, and the booking conditions that apply when you buy a tour from Naseem's Travel. The tours sold here are packages within the meaning of the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018, so the protections in those Regulations apply to your booking.

Draft prepared for review
This document is a working draft written for Naseem's Travel to review. It has not been checked by a lawyer, and it contains gaps where facts about the business are not yet known — each one is marked in amber below. It must be reviewed and approved by a qualified solicitor before this website accepts real bookings or takes payment from customers.

Using this website
You may use this website to browse tours, make enquiries and place bookings for yourself and for people you are authorised to book for. You must not use it fraudulently, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or copy its content for commercial use without our permission. The text, photographs, itineraries and design on this site belong to us or to our licensors.
We take care to keep itineraries, dates and prices accurate, but the site is a description of what we offer rather than an offer capable of acceptance. Hotels, routes and the order of sightseeing can change, and errors are occasionally published. Nothing on the site forms part of your contract until it appears in your booking confirmation.
What you are buying
Our escorted tours combine at least two different types of travel service — such as accommodation, transport within Uzbekistan, guiding and excursions — sold at an inclusive price for the same trip. That makes them packages, and it means:
- we are responsible for the proper performance of every service in the package;
- you must be given the standard information about your rights before you book, and a copy of the contract afterwards;
- the money you pay must be protected against our insolvency — see insolvency protection below.
To be completed before launch
The Schedule 1 “key rights” standard information form required by the Regulations must be finalised and shown to the customer before the booking is confirmed. Confirm which form applies, and where it is displayed in the booking flow.
How a booking is made
- You choose a tour and a departure date and complete the booking form. The lead traveller must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for the whole booking, including payment and for passing our information on to everyone else travelling.
- You choose a payment method. This website does not currently ask for card details; submitting the form places a request, not a payment.
- We check availability with our suppliers and come back to you. A contract is formed only when we send you a written booking confirmation. Until then no contract exists, even if you have received an automated acknowledgement of your request.
Please check your confirmation as soon as you receive it and tell us immediately about any mistake. Names must match the travel documents you will use.
Deposit, balance and prices
The website advertises “reserve now, pay later”. In practice that means you can hold a place without paying at the moment you book: we contact you to arrange a deposit, and the balance falls due before you travel.
- Deposit — To be completed before launch — deposit amount, as a percentage or a fixed sum per person, and how long a place is held before the deposit is required
- Balance — To be completed before launch — number of days before departure by which the balance must be paid
- Late bookings — To be completed before launch — the point at which a booking must be paid in full at the time of booking
- Non-payment — To be completed before launch — what happens if the balance is not paid on time, and the cancellation charge that would then apply
Prices are contracted in pounds sterling. Where the site shows a price in another currency, it is an indicative conversion using published exchange rates and is for guidance only; the amount you owe is the sterling amount on your confirmation.
Your confirmation sets out what is included. Unless it says otherwise, international flights, visas, travel insurance, tips, drinks and personal spending are not included.
Price changes after you book
The price in your confirmation is guaranteed except in the limited circumstances allowed by the Package Travel Regulations. We may increase it only to pass on changes in:
- the cost of fuel or other power sources for carrying passengers;
- taxes or fees charged by a third party not directly involved in performing the package, such as tourist taxes, landing taxes or embarkation fees;
- the exchange rates relevant to the package.
Any increase must be notified to you clearly, with the calculation and the reason, and we cannot increase the price less than 20 days before departure. If the increase is more than 8% of the total price you may accept it, accept a substitute package we offer, or cancel and receive a full refund. If the same costs fall, we will pass the reduction on to you, less our reasonable administrative expenses — To be completed before launch — the administrative deduction, if any, to be applied to a price reduction
Changes and cancellation by you
Changing your booking
If you want to change a departure date, a tour or the details of a traveller after confirmation, tell us in writing and we will try to help. Suppliers frequently charge for changes, and some elements cannot be changed at all; you will be responsible for those charges plus our own amendment fee — To be completed before launch — amendment fee per change and per person
Transferring your booking to someone else
Under the Package Travel Regulations you may transfer your booking to another person who meets all the conditions of the package. You must give us reasonable notice on a durable medium — at least seven days before departure is always reasonable. You and the person taking over the booking are jointly and severally liable for the balance of the price and for any additional fees or charges that the transfer actually causes, which we will evidence to you. Airline tickets and some rail tickets are commonly non-transferable, in which case the cost of re-issuing them falls within those charges.
Cancelling
You may cancel at any time by telling us in writing; the cancellation takes effect on the day we receive it. Because we commit money to suppliers as soon as you book, cancellation charges apply:
To be completed before launch — the cancellation charge scale, as a percentage of the total price by number of days before departureYou will not have to pay a cancellation charge if unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances at or near the destination significantly affect the performance of the package or the carriage of passengers to it. In that case you may cancel and receive a full refund of everything you have paid, but no additional compensation.
Bookings made on this website are not subject to the 14-day cancellation right in the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, because that right does not apply to package travel. Your cancellation rights are the ones set out above and in the Package Travel Regulations.
Changes and cancellation by us
Minor changes
Small alterations happen: a change of hotel to another of the same standard, a different order of sightseeing, a change of guide, or a revised flight time by a few hours. We will tell you as soon as we can, but no compensation is payable for insignificant changes.
Significant changes
If we have to alter a main characteristic of the package significantly, or cannot meet a special requirement we have accepted, we will tell you without delay and give you a reasonable period in which to either accept the change, accept a substitute package if we can offer one, or cancel and receive a full refund within 14 days. Where a substitute is of lower quality or cost, you are entitled to an appropriate price reduction.
Cancellation by us
We may cancel your package and refund everything you have paid, without further liability, if too few people book, or if we are prevented from performing the contract by unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances. Where we cancel for lack of numbers we must notify you at least 20 days before departure for trips of more than six days, at least seven days before for trips of two to six days, and at least 48 hours before for trips of under two days.
To be completed before launch — the minimum number of travellers required for each escorted departureRefunds due under this section are made within 14 days.
Our responsibility for your trip
We are responsible for the proper performance of the travel services in your package, whether we perform them ourselves or a supplier does. If a service is not performed as promised, tell us or our local representative straight away so that we can put it right. If we do not put it right within a reasonable period, you may be entitled to a price reduction and, where you have suffered damage, to compensation.
We are not responsible where the failure is:
- attributable to you or to another traveller on your booking;
- attributable to an unconnected third party and unforeseeable or unavoidable by us; or
- due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances.
Where an international convention applies to a service — the Montreal Convention for air travel, the Athens Convention for carriage by sea, or the COTIF rules for rail — the compensation we must pay is limited to the extent allowed by that convention. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
We will give appropriate assistance without undue delay if you are in difficulty while travelling, including help with health services, local authorities and consular assistance, and with arranging alternative travel. We may charge a reasonable fee for that assistance where the difficulty was caused intentionally or negligently by you.
Insolvency protection
The Package Travel Regulations require an organiser to protect the money customers pay in advance, and to cover the cost of repatriation if the organiser fails. Protection is normally provided by a bond, an insurance policy or a trust account.
To be completed before launch
We are not yet able to state that insolvency protection is in place, and this document must not be read as saying that it is. The scheme, the provider and the membership or policy number are still to be arranged. No customer money should be taken until they are.
Details required: To be completed before launch — type of insolvency protection (bond, insurance or trust account) To be completed before launch — name of the protection provider To be completed before launch — membership or policy number
For the avoidance of doubt, Naseem's Travel does not hold an ATOL licence and is not a member of ABTA. If any package we sell comes to include flights starting in the UK, an ATOL will be required before it may be sold, and this section must be rewritten to record it.
Passports, visas and health
You are responsible for making sure that every traveller on your booking holds the correct passport, visas and health documentation. We can offer general guidance, but requirements depend on nationality and change without notice, and we cannot check them for you.
- Visas. Uzbekistan allows visa-free entry for 30 days to citizens of more than 90 countries, including British citizens. Travellers whose nationality is not on that list generally need an e-visa, applied for in advance. Check the position for your own nationality before you book, and again before you travel.
- Passports. Most travellers need a passport valid for at least three months beyond the date they intend to leave Uzbekistan, with blank pages available. If your itinerary includes another country, its rules may be stricter.
- Health. Check recommended vaccinations and any health entry requirements well before departure, and tell us about any medical condition or reduced mobility that may affect your ability to take part in the tour.
- Official advice. Read the UK Government’s foreign travel advice at gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice and health advice at travelhealthpro.org.uk.
If you are refused entry, or miss part of your trip, because your documents are not in order, we are not liable and no refund is due. Where we incur costs because of it, you must reimburse us.
Travel insurance
Travel insurance is not included in our prices and it is your responsibility to arrange it. We strongly recommend that everyone travelling holds a policy in force from the day of booking, covering at least medical treatment and emergency repatriation, cancellation and curtailment, personal liability, and baggage and money. Make sure the policy covers the activities on your itinerary and any pre-existing medical condition. We may ask for your insurer’s name and your policy number before departure.
Behaviour on tour
Our tours are escorted and travel as a group. If your behaviour, or that of anyone on your booking, causes or is likely to cause danger, distress or damage, we or a supplier may end your participation. In that case the contract with you ends, we have no further responsibility for you, no refund is due, and you may be liable for any costs we incur.
If something goes wrong
- Tell your tour leader or the local supplier at the time. Most problems can be solved on the spot, and giving us the chance to do so is a condition of your contract.
- If it is not resolved, contact us while you are still travelling, using the emergency number in your travel documents.
- If you are still dissatisfied afterwards, write to travel@naseemus.com with your booking reference and full details, within To be completed before launch — the number of days after returning home within which a written complaint must be made
- We will acknowledge your complaint and reply within To be completed before launch — acknowledgement and full-response timescales for complaints
We do not currently subscribe to an alternative dispute resolution or arbitration scheme. Nothing prevents you from taking a complaint to court.
To be completed before launch
Decide whether to join an ADR scheme, and record it here if so; the Regulations require traders to tell consumers about any ADR body they are obliged or have chosen to use.
Unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances
Neither of us is liable for a failure to perform the contract that is caused by circumstances beyond our control which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken. These include war, threat of war, terrorism, civil unrest, serious security risks, significant risks to human health such as an epidemic, natural disaster, adverse weather, fire, industrial action, and the closure of airspace, airports or borders.
Your personal information
We handle the information you give us in line with our privacy notice, which explains what we collect, who we share it with — including suppliers in Uzbekistan — and the rights you have over it. Storage on your own device is described in our cookie policy.
General
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our failure to insist on a term at one time does not prevent us from relying on it later. These terms and your booking confirmation are the whole agreement between us.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the one in force on the day your booking was confirmed.
Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them or from your booking are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may instead bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, and the law of that country will apply.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. In particular, they do not limit the rights given to you by the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 or the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Where anything written here conflicts with those rights, your statutory rights prevail.
