Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1Tashkent – Samarkand
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Tashkent and drive in a comfortable car to Samarkand (300 km, 4-4.5 hrs.). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel to drop off luggage. Meet your guide and begin your Samarkand tour. The tour program includes visits to Gur-Emir Mausoleum, Registan Square, Bibi Khanum Mosque, Shahi-Zinda Necropolis, Ulugbek Observatory and Samarkand’s central market, Siab Bazaar. Overnight at the hotel in Samarkand. Duration of tour: 5-6 hours
Day 2Samarkand – Tashkent
After breakfast, continue the 2-day Samarkand Tour from Tashkent with a visit to Afrasiab Museum and the Tomb of Saint Daniel, followed by a drive to Konigil village to learn about the traditional way of making Samarkand paper from mulberry trees. In the afternoon, drive back to Tashkent (300 km, 4-4.5hrs). Upon arrival to Tashkent, you will be dropped off at your hotel or place of your choice.
